Abstract |
Innovative cloud computing solutions can be a valuable tool for the further implementation and adoption of INSPIRE. This module provides insight in the field of innovative cloud computing solutions for SDI’s. Starting point of the module will be the shift towards open standards, open software and open data. The module also describes an innovative architecture for SDI’s and provides several examples of cloud computing solutions for SDI’s. The module will introduce the concept of ‘ecosystems of stakeholders’, as an approach for combining an open sourcebusiness model with a proprietary one. |

This seminar contains the following modules/parts: 1. Context (open standards, open software and open data) 2. Innovative architecture for SDIs 3. Examples of solutions 4. Ecosystem of the different stakeholders 5. Conclusions and business model |
Learning outcomes |
After the training offer, the participant will be able to: - Describe and report the context of innovative cloud computing solutions - Define and illustrate innovative cloud computing solutions for SDIs - Describe and summarize examples of cloud computing solutions for SDIs - Describe and discuss the ecosystem of the stakeholders e.g. client, developer, integrator,… - Define and discuss business models for innovative cloud computing solutions |
